ChildrenFirst is a pediatric health care system that provides services for medically complex children. Our services complement and offer additional specialty care that may be required in addition to the other services listed in this guide.
For instance, if an infant is born prematurely, they may require transitional care after the NICU. Therefore, many specialty providers from this guide would be an asset such as Arnold Palmer Hospital. We would then work with them to provide transitional care to help prevent hospital readmittance during the transition between the hospital and home.
Services:
- Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC)
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Out-Patient Therapy
- Pediatric Group Homes
- Pediatric Private-Duty Nursing
