24-Hour On-Call Service
What do you do on a weekend or after-hours when you have a question regarding your child’s medical equipment, supplies or enteral nutrition? At Children’s Home Medical Equipment, Inc., our Certified Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Registered Nurses and other staff are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer any questions, or discuss concerns regarding your equipment, supplies or enteral nutrition. After hours services are also provided.
Fully-Stocked Inventory
We have the most comprehensive Orlando based inventory of infant/pediatric equipment, supplies and enteral nutrition necessities as compared to any home medical equipment provider serving the region.
Our inventory includes but is not limited to apnea monitors, Smart II monitors, phototherapy, nebulizers, Pari nebulizers, enteral feeding pumps, tracheostomy tubes, custom tracheostomy tubes, Mic-Key buttons, Mini-One g-tubes, PEG tubes, high and low-flow oxygen regulators, Trilogy ventilators, LTV1150 ventilators, NewPort ventilators, Dinamap blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters with neonatal, infant and child probes (various models available), ostomy supplies, specialty wound care dressings, urology supplies, various sizes of pediatric wheelchairs, crutches and walkers, diapers, etc.
Because we maintain a large, local inventory, we are capable of promptly serving all ages and sizes of patients. This allows us to deliver equipment and supplies in a timely manner. Many national HME providers have out-of-the-area warehouses with only basic inventory on their trucks, but do not carry all the specialized equipment and supplies required. Other providers’ lack of immediately-available inventory can delay delivery and potentially lengthen hospital stays or cause hospital readmissions.
Respiratory Therapy
Children’s Home Medical Equipment, Inc. specializes in the latest technologies in respiratory-related equipment for medically complex patients. We provide Registered Respiratory Therapists to service all of your child’s respiratory-related equipment and needs. Unlike other HME providers, each of our respiratory patients is clinically case managed by a Registered Respiratory Therapist who closely monitors and evaluates your child’s condition and progress. An on-call Respiratory Therapist is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for after-hour services.
Enteral Nutrition Therapy
Enteral Nutrition Therapy is handled with the utmost care at Children’s Home Medical Equipment, Inc. Our technical staff works with the families of pediatric enteral nutrition patients to train them for enteral tube or bolus feeding administration. We offer a wide variety of enteral nutrition products.
Specialty Formulas
ChildrenFirst offers specialty enteral formulas, including those from Real Food Blends, Nourish, and Kate Farms, that provide specific nutrition for a wide range of medical and dietary needs or tube feeding. Many formulas come in a variety of flavors for a delicious and nutritious experience.
